Study Abroad
Study abroad was my favorite experience at JMU and something I will always be grateful for. I was one of 15 students selected for the Mediterranean Marvels program, where I traveled to Naxos, Athens, Corsica, Rome, Venice, and Nice. From taking a pasta making class and riding in a gondola to trying lots of gelato, visiting museums, and seeing incredible artwork, every stop brought something new. I loved learning new words in different languages, experiencing different cultures, and making memories with the people on my trip. It was an eye-opening experience that gave me lifelong friendships and memories I will never forget.

Family Travel
Traveling with my family has been one of the biggest blessings in my life and has created some of my favorite memories. Most recently, we visited California, but we have also traveled to Colorado, Dominican Republic for Punta Cana, taken cruises to Bahamas, visited Italy and Canada, and spent time in my second home, Florida, almost every year growing up. Being able to experience so many different places at a young age has given me memories I will always cherish and a greater appreciation for different people, places, and cultures. I feel very lucky to have a family like mine and grateful for the opportunities we’ve shared together.
